Requirements:
  • Bcom Accounting / Financial Management qualification
  • Effective time management
  • Numeracy / statistics skill
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Understand Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • MS Office and Syspro or any other financial planning software
  • Good communication skills
Experience:
  • 3 - 5 Years experience in a finance department
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment will be an advantage

Duties Include:
  • Manage financial transactions, and analyse financial data.
  • Manage cash transactions and petty cash
  • Effect payment of invoices via electronic banking
  • Match invoices to GRN and process for some suppliers
  • Ad Hoc duties
  • Prepare and process all journal entries
  • Reconcile all asset, liability and payroll accounts
  • Do VAT reconciliations
  • Provide schedules and working papers to external auditors
  • Process Foreign payments
