Accountant – Articles completed. Kempton Park Salary: R45 000 – R55 000CTC Responsibilities: Ensure timeous and accurate payments to all suppliers. Assist with the submission of timeous and accurate statutory returns. Compile and finalise the monthly Financial reports. SOX Management. Ensure the timeous and accurate finalization of trial balances to prepare the Financial statements. Financial forecasting. Assist with managing the Finance team. Plan and manage the departments' day to day activities. Assist the Financial Manager with the preparation of the Management reports. Assist with audit preparations as well as the auditing process. Assist the Financial Manager with any other adhoc accounting duties and projects as and when required. Qualification & Experience: B.Com Financial Accounting degree. Articles completed. Minimum 3-4 years’ experience as an Accountant in a similar role. Designing, implementation and managing finance processes & policies. Solid knowledge in relevant legislation, ie IFRS, Taxation and Company Act, as well as accounting procedures including preparing month-end reports and financial forecasts. Well-developed computer literacy and skills (Microsoft Office). Working knowledge of an ERP system - MS Dynamics Navision/Business Central preferred. Managing and leading a team. Strong organizational skills, which relates to the prioritizing of workloads. Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy, continuity, and completeness of all information. Results and deadline driven. High degree of integrity, honesty and confidentiality.
