Accountant (SAIPA) - Cape Town City Centre
We are seeking a SAIPA Accountant ideally with manufacturing experience to perform the following:
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain financial records and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage Trial balance
- Load and verify payments
- Process monthly journals
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Stock reconciliations
- Prepare and analyse budgets and financial reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations and month-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Assist with audits and tax preparations
- Provide financial advice and support to management
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- SAIPA articles completed
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting
- Experience with Syspro will be advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Deadline-driven with the ability to work both independently and in teams
