An Agritalent client, a leading player in the dried fruit industry, seeks an Accountant. • Responsible for all movement in the factory to read it into the system (IFS) • Read Main Line and Small Line (Woolworths) runs on IFS. • Maintaining financial records and reports which include: • Monthly management statements and related reporting. • Budget and cash flow projections. • Maintaining asset registers. • Accounting management of inventory. • Cost variance analyses. • Processing of management accounting functions. • Handling, preparation and submission of reports to Statutory bodies (VAT returns, PAYE etc.) • Support of financial audits. • Drawing up financial statements. • General financial administration Minimum Requirements: • Applications from well-organised, precise individuals with above average numerical skills, supported by B.Com Rec degree in Financial accounting or management accounting or equivalet qualification with completed clerkship, supported by at least 5 years' experience in, preferably a manufacturing and agricultural environment are welcome. • Good interpersonal and communication skills. • Technical analytical skills. • Above average computer skills in Pastel/Sage/ SAP/ Oracle and Excel. • The ability to function both independently and as part of a team. • Knowledge and experience of "Business Intelligence Tools" (BI) and SQL as well as knowledge and experience in relation to the National credit legislation (NCR) and administration will be beneficial.
