Excelllent career opportunity with an international FMCG company with their Head Office in the beautiful Boland. Applicants who already reside in the Boland or Northern Suburbs of Cape Town are invited to apply. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, will be responsible for a portfolio of supplier accounts and will comply with the following minimum requirements: Job Responsibilities: Full responsibility of supplier accounts. Processing of supplier invoices for payment. Processing of claims against suppliers. Payments of suppliers within agreed payment terms. Monthly Reconciliations of supplier statements. Resolving outstanding items and resolving queries on supplier recons. Establish and maintain excellent relationships at all levels, both internally and externally. Preparing and Submitting Foreign Payments: Responsible for handling foreign payments to suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Sending remittance advices and relevant documentation to import suppliers/SARB/Bank APPLICANT MUST RESIDE IN THE BOLAND AREA OD NORTHERN SUBURBS OF CAPE TOWN Our ideal candidate should have the following: National Certificate / NQF level 4. Experience in handling foreign payments Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English. A tertiary qualification in Finance would be advantageous. 2 – 5 years experience in a finance environment (FMCG will be advantageous). Must have strong analytical and numeracy skills. The ability to work accurately and consistently attentive to detail. The ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines. Computer literate in MS Word, Excel, Outlook. Knowledge of Syspro will be advantageous. The ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. R 21 666 ctc pm
