Accounts Receivable Administrator (6 - month contract) - Benoni

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Administrator to join a client project for 6 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable function and ensuring timely collection of payments from subsidiaries and clients.Responsibilities:Generate and issue invoices to clients accurately and in a timely manner.Monitor accounts receivable aging to identify overdue accounts and follow up with clients for payment.Process incoming payments and reconcile accounts receivable ledger.Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues with payments.Prepare and maintain financial reports related to accounts receivable.Collaborate with other departments to address customer inquiries and resolve billing issues.Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Administrator or similar role.Proficiency in SAP software is essential.Experience working in a Finance department.Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.This position requires working in-office.Please note: As all IQbusiness roles require honesty in the handling of or access to cash, finances, financial systems, or confidential information; our recruitment process requires that the following background checks be completed: credit, criminal, ID and qualification verification.IQbusiness is committed to sustainable growth and transformation, we embrace diversity and employ previously disadvantaged individuals.
