Our client seeks a young highly organized, professional and presentable Admin Assistant to support our daily operations and contribute to our team’s success.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
- Answer and direct phone calls politely and professionally, handling client inquiries and directing them to the appropriate department.
- Organize and schedule appointments and meetings for the IT support team.
- Maintain a clean, presentable, and welcoming reception area.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports and documentation.
- Develop and maintain an organized filing system for client and company records.
- Order office supplies and manage inventory, ensuring timely replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and IT support protocols.
Requirements:
- Basic PC skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Presentable and professional demeanour.
- Ability to answer phone calls and handle client queries effectively.
- Proficiency in Afrikaans and English (both written and spoken).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a Team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to learn
- Must reside in the Centurion vicinity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Admin Assistant or in a related field, preferably within the IT industry
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Familiarity with IT terminology and support processes is a plus.
