The Assistant Learning Support Officer is responsible for assisting the VET Learning Support Officers in the coordination and administration of online VET training courses. The LSO liaises daily with the VET Learning Support Officers. The role also includes various administrative tasks as requested by the Learning Support Officers and the VET College Manager. Answering customer queries. Assisting with the processing of student registrations. Preparing the student schedules for courses. Completion of the graduation documents for the Professional Certificate of Competency course and VET qualifications. Taking attendance. Out of Office cover. Updating outcomes on the SMS – Paradigm. Cancelling abandoned carts on the SMS – Paradigm. The processing of student and employer surveys. The preparation of Credit Transfer documents. Quality monitoring. Implementing company policies and procedures. Working with and maintaining the Moodle site. Assisting with accounts. Assisting with the updating of the Student Details spreadsheets. Ad hoc tasks as required by the College Manager or VET Learning Support Officers. Minimum 3 years Administration experience. Compliance experience essential. Exposure to online and international training. Ability to work under pressure and keep to deadlines. Ability to juggle multiple tasks. Exceptional customer service skills.
