To manage onsite reviews and desk-based monitoring, as well as to oversee the role in assisting the Financial Services Board (FSB) in fulfilling their supervisory obligations under the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA), to ensure regulatory compliance of members. • Maintain a professional approach towards regulatory interactions with member firms to promote the organization's reputation as a trusted, respected regulator. • Ensure that all interactions with member firms, internal and external stakeholders are professional and maintain the organization's good reputation. • Build relationships with colleagues, peers, and staff using appropriate interpersonal styles. • Interact in a way that promotes openness and trust, instilling confidence in one's intentions. • Conduct a needs analysis. • Develop multiple creative solutions. • Provide professional advice/opinion. • Communicate job requirements and performance standards to others. • Conduct performance appraisal interviews. • Conduct performance feedback meetings. • Give presentations. • Identify trends. • Coordinate on-the-job training for new hires (e.g., identifying need, scheduling, resource allocation). • Resolve disputes. • Assess employee performance. • Build/lead a team. • Initiate disciplinary hearings. • Adapt behavior to meet major changes at work. • Adapt to major organizational change. • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Evaluate resource allocation. • Network and build relationships. • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with peers, subordinates, and managers. • Enforce disciplinary actions against employees. Relevant financial Diploma / Degree. Candidates must have completed their articles. We are looking for individuals with management experience from an audit firm, such as roles in Audit Management or Audit Supervision. 3 years work experience in an auditing environment within the financial services sector , of which 1 year in a compliance environment and 1 year in the role of managing others.
