Our client is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager for the wholesale FMCG division!

Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:
- Monitoring and managing stock levels.
- Conducting regular stock checks and reconciling discrepancies.
- Ensuring accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
Order Fulfillment:
- Supervising the picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
- Ensuring orders are processed efficiently and accurately.
- Coordinating with the sales and customer service teams to meet delivery deadlines.
Staff Supervision:
- Managing and training warehouse staff.
- Scheduling shifts and assigning tasks.
- Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
Warehouse Operations:
- Overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.
- Implementing and maintaining efficient warehouse processes and procedures.
- Ensuring the proper maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment.
Quality Control:
- Inspecting goods for quality and damage.
- Implementing quality control measures and procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conducting regular safety audits and risk assessments.
- Implementing safety training programs for staff.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintaining accurate records of warehouse activities.
- Preparing and submitting regular reports on inventory, staff performance, and warehouse operations.
- Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement.
Coordination and Communication:
- Liaising with suppliers, transport companies, and other departments.
- Coordinating inbound and outbound logistics.
- Handling customer queries and resolving issues related to warehouse operations.
Process Improvement:
- Identifying opportunities to streamline warehouse operations.
- Implementing new technologies and systems to improve efficiency.
- Continuously reviewing and improving warehouse processes and procedures.
