Job Title: Automation Testers - Cape Town - Hybrid - Contract (SA Citizens Only) Location: Western Cape, City of Cape Town, Cape Town Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: IT and Internet Secondary Industry: IT and Internet Job Description: We are currently seeking Automation Testers for a contract position in Cape Town. This role requires individuals who are proficient in automation testing and have a strong understanding of software development processes. Job Duties: Develop and execute automated test scripts Identify and report software defects Collaborate with developers and other team members to ensure quality software delivery Conduct regression testing Create test plans and test cases Required Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science or related field Certification in software testing (e.g. ISTQB) Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation testing Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of software testing methodologies Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases Excellent problem-solving skills Good communication and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Software Testing or related field Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines Working Conditions: This is a hybrid role, with a combination of remote and on-site work Contract position with full-time hours Only open to South African Citizens Automation, Testers, Cape, Town, Hybrid, Contract, SA, Citizens, Only,
