Reference: JHB000556-Tshid-2 Our client in the telecommunication sector is looking for a Automation Tester (Service Virtualiser). This is a contract role for 6 months. The Automation Tester is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure software quality. They play a crucial role in the software development lifecycle, from analyzing requirements to delivering defect-free solutions. Design and develop automated test scripts using testing tools and frameworks. Execute tests, analyze results, and provide reports on software quality and associated risk. Work closely with the development team to understand software requirements and design appropriate test strategies. Contribute to enhancing the existing automation framework for efficiency and effectiveness Skills and Experience Required: Proven experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and automation tools. Proficiency in one or more programming languages relevant to the automation framework used. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with different teams. Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices. Relevant professional certifications like ISTQB would be a plus. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certifications like ISTQB Advanced Level – Test Manager, Certified Manager of Software Testing (CMST), or Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP) would be advantageous. Apply Now
