The AWS System Engineer will be responsible for managing an existing supply chain AWS platform for a client, ensuring its high availability, security, and performance. This role requires a deep understanding of AWS services, including EC2, VPC, EKS, ECR, and Route 53, as well as proficiency in Linux system administration. The engineer will perform system administration tasks, monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions. Additionally, they will collaborate with the development team to optimise and automate workflows, document system configurations, and provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members. Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure including EC2, VPC, EKS, ECR, and Route 53. Ensure high availability, security, and performance of the AWS platform. Perform system administration tasks on Linux servers. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions. Collaborate with the development team to optimise and automate workflows. Document system configurations, procedures, and processes. Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members. Stay updated with AWS services and best practices. 3 to 4 years of relevant experience required. Relevant Degree in IT or Computer Science. Proficiency in Linux system administration. Extensive experience with AWS services: EC2, VPC, EKS, ECR, Route 53. Understanding of network configuration and security within AWS. Contract:12 month Location: The Netherlands Mode of work: Remote Other: Proficiency in Afrikaans is preferred
