Desired Experience & Qualification

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible to coordinate, controlling, and supervising all operators of shaft conveyances, skips, material, equipment, associated systems, and shift being raised or lowered safely underground.
Reporting of all incidents and / or near incidents.
Adhere to working schedules, including overtime, standby.
Without limiting the responsibility/obligation of all employees to always comply with all applicable laws, particular attention should be given to the following with respect to the Minerals Act and Regulations.
Adherence to all Mine Health and Safety Act policies and procedures.
Provide coaching and on-the-job training to reporting staff.
Communicate with relevant Banksman Assistants and line management.
Ability to work as a team member and follow written and verbal instructions.
The incumbent should be a disciplined and responsible person.
