Responsibilities To ensure sound financial control of the bar in accordance to set financial parameters by managing income and expenditure to ensure required return on investment To ensure efficient stock control management for the bar To ensure repairs and maintenance are taking place as and when required To maintain a clean and hygienic working environment at all times according to the Bar standards To communicate and ensure compliance to the Bar / Restaurant operational standards and operating requirements To develop and monitor rostering on a weekly basis to ensure sufficient people capacity to meet the business requirements To ensure adherence to opening and closing procedures To ensure effective performance management of all staff in accordance with the Bar / Restaurant policy and procedure To ensure effective staff development and succession planning for the Bar / Restaurant To respond to all customer complaints in accordance with the Bar / Restaurant policies and procedures Requirements 3 years Bar management experience in a 5 environment Grade 12 Micros / GAAP experience Ability to work with people Attention to detail and accuracy Financial and business acumen Knowledge of restaurant operations including people, product and customer processes
