Bookkeeper - Johannesburg
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the financial transactions and records .This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple properties.
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Process invoices, reconcile accounts, and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Manage tenant billing and collections, addressing any outstanding balances
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure optimal financial health.
- Generate regular financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.
- Provide management with financial insights to support decision-making.
- Work with external accountants to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Support the finance team in various administrative tasks as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and sensitive data.
