We are seeking a proficient Bookkeeper with expertise in accounting software, specifically Pastel Partner, to join our team in the southern region of Johannesburg. Responsibilities: Maintain precise financial records utilizing accounting software like Pastel Partner. Execute all bookkeeping tasks, including journals, ledgers, and management accounts. Reconcile accounts, process payments, and oversee invoices. Generate financial reports and statements for assessment. Preparing and submission of VAT returns. Requirements: Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping with a comprehensive grasp of accounting principles. Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Pastel Partner. Familiarity with journals, ledgers, management accounts, and financial reporting. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping. Effective organizational and time-management abilities. Matric and a relevant certificate, diploma or degree required in bookkeeping or accounting. (Please attach copies of your matric certificate and tertiary qualification.) Ability to handle pressure as this is a high paced working environment. The salary offered for this position falls within the range of R10,000 to R15,000 per month, dependent on experience and qualifications.
