Job Posted: 26-Feb-2024 Location: Cape Town Administration Manager and Bookkeeper Key Functions Dealing cashups o Processing Cash Ups o Completing the Cash Up spreadsheet including importing EFT, SnapScan, Yoco and Credit Card info from bank statements o Clearing communicating an issue needing to be resolved Supplier accounts (Stock loading) o Capturing & filing of supplier invoices o Monitoring flow of information into Sage o Preparing weekly payment schedules o Weekly and monthly reconciliation of supplier accounts o GVR capturing on GAAP Controlling stock movements between sites o Ensuring all stock movements are captured timeously (kitchen use, wastage etc) o Capturing stock from stock sheets at month end. o Ensure stock takes are done and weekly checks when required. General Bookkeeping o Working daily in Sage Accounting processing all transactions o Reconciling to the bank o Reporting to accountant as required o Loading payments for authorising on supplier and payroll Monthly preparation of payroll information o Collating timesheets, leave information and deductions for payroll system o Printing & collating payslips & timesheets for distribution to staff o Ensuring all statutory deadlines and requirements are met. o Documenting deductions and supporting documents with payslips o Allocating sick days and family responsibility when required Staff Filing o Confidential filing of staff information o Update on permits and passports monthly who is outstanding o Ensure everyone has a contract and staff forms who have been recruited and add to payroll once employment is confirmed and documents in order Office Cleaning o Ensure thorough cleaning of the office /storeroom Job Title Bookkeeper - Southern Suburbs Employer Type Employer Type -> Restaurants Job Type Job Classification -> Finance FT/PT Job Type -> Full-time Province Location -> Western Cape Town/City Cape Town Salary Type Monthly Salary R15 500 Start Date TBA Redirect me to HotelJobs.co.za to apply for this job
