Decofurn is a furniture retailer with 12 stores nationwide. We have a highly efficient online store that can service clients in most parts of South Africa. Our unique warehouse/factory shop concept has been developed with 32 years of experience in the furniture industry. Our Group is a leading importer, manufacturer, and retailer of furniture and related products. We are a diverse, agile team of professionals and as a family-owned business, our values and principles are shared by all our staff. We are looking for a Branch Manager to join our organisation. The Branch Manager will be responsible for the daily management operations of the store and management of staff, overseeing the sales/showroom operations, clients and troubleshooting all escalated issues effectively on a 6-day work week. Drive turnover by upselling/ training/ pricing/ ensuring stock is displayed as per standard Analyse sales and revenue reports and make forecasts Oversee in-store promotional events or displays Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise Organize all store operations and allocate responsibilities to personnel Ensure high standard of client service and order management Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store's reputation Overseeing financial administration of the store Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance Ensure the store fulfils all legal health and safety guidelines Manage periodic stock counts Minimising losses and damages Deliveries Pastel/CM/Onfleet and other integrated systems SOP'S Grade 12 or equivalent NDip business administration, sales or relevant field desirable 4 to 5 years' experience as a retail manager or in other managerial position - mandatory Proficient in Computer Literacy POS experience 4 to 5 years of Leadership skills 5 to 6 years of Microsoft suite experience 5 to 6 years of retail management systems The team member we are looking for needs to be hands on and multitask in a fast paced, dynamic environment and perform in a manner that maximizes profits. A mentor to junior employees with excitement for growing the business. Dedicated, competent with a positive and can-do attitude.
