This role will be based at our Head Office in Cape Town. Job description Job Purpose: To continuously develop the Clicks brand as the first choice for customers by executing the brand strategy for loyalty including affinity partners and category that supports the Clicks marketing positioning to maximise sales and increase customer engagement while staying within budget. Job Objectives: To design, develop and implement Clicks brand pillars that deliver against the business strategic objectives and maximizes the propensity for customer lifetime value. To develop and drive the annual promotional and communications calendar and ensure all campaigns are delivered and meet their objectives according to the Marketing operating plan. To manage the alignment of all marketing elements to ensure it is delivered and aligned with the Brand identity (above the line: / TV campaigns; below the line: in-store activations and promotional execution and online: social media platforms website / online campaigns. To support the marketing budgets by ensuring all campaigns are implemented cost-effectively over the short and medium-term. To build positive relationships with internal (merchandise, stores, advertising agencies and leadership teams) and external stakeholders (suppliers, online, production, etc.) in order to deliver marketing communications that meet customer expectations. To maintain brand integrity and ensure the impact of all branding decisions are evaluated against the brand strategy and conform to corporate identity Maintain professional & technical knowledge through networks, workshops, professional societies and state-of-the-art benchmarking to demonstrate knowledge and compliance to direct marketing governance & legislative requirements. Provide continual feedback on Strategic Marketing, communications on campaign progress to Management & ensure alignment to project objectives, deliverables & timeframes through effective project management & communication. Design, develop and implement measurement and evaluation frameworks that track effectiveness and efficiencies of marketing communications and provide recommendations for optimization thereof.
