One of our client is in search for a Business Analyst to join its systems team, working as a shared service for its own client in the FMCG Liquor Industry. Job Summary: As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing and assessing business processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities for improvement and provide actionable insights to drive decision-making and strategic planning within the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and management to gather requirements, define project scopes, and develop innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and achieve business objectives. Job Responsibilities: 1. Conduct comprehensive analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. 2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, objectives, and success criteria for projects and initiatives. 3. Perform data analysis, data modelling, and data mapping to support business decision-making and recommend data-driven solutions. 4. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure timely and successful project delivery. 5. Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate the potential impact of proposed solutions and initiatives. 6. Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure alignment between business needs and system capabilities. 7. Facilitate meetings, workshops, and interviews with stakeholders to elicit requirements, define workflows, and drive consensus. 8. Create and maintain documentation, such as business process flows, use cases, user stories, and functional specifications. 9. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support during the implementation phase to ensure successful deployment of solutions. 10. Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project progress, measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Skill Set Requirements: 1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex business processes and data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. 2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders. 3. Solid understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices, such as process modelling, requirements elicitation, and solution evaluation. 4. Proficiency in data analysis techniques and tools, including data modelling, SQL, and data visualization. 5. Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. 6. Knowledge of business process modelling techniques and tools, such as BPMN or UML, to document and visualize business processes. 7. Familiarity with software development lifecycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies, including experience with tools like JIRA or Trello. 8. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, facilitate discussions, and influence decision-making across various levels of the organization. 9.
