Business Analyst Intern - ICT Internship 2024 - - Midrand

The criteria/requirements are as follows:-

Candidates must have COMPLETED their 3 YEAR tertiary qualification in IT relevant to business analysis.
Students must have completed their 3-year tertiary qualification, including their WIL/In-Service training/Industrial Exposure. This is NOT a WIL programme.
Candidates must have a clear credit (ITC) record and no criminal record.
Candidates must currently be unemployed.
Candidates must not be participating on another learnership or internship program.
Candidates must have completed matric with English and mathematics.
Candidates must have effective communication in written and verbal English.
Candidates must be competent in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and Visio
Candidates must currently be living in Gauteng (relocation is NOT an option).
Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 35 as at 01 April 2024.
Candidates must be a South African Citizen.
Candidates must have Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
Candidates must have the ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
Candidates must have the relevant technical skills.
Candidates must be able to engage in training programs and self-study to enhance skills.
Candidates must have excellent documentation skills.
Candidates must have experience in creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
Candidates must have good planning, organizational, and time management skills

Responsibilities:-

Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
Assisting in ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernise systems.
Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
Performing requirements analysis.
Documenting and communicating the results of efforts.
Documenting outputs as per the CTO office / CoE standard and ensuring documents are correctly saved on the repositories.

Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
Working closely with clients, teams, and managerial staff.
Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
Performing user acceptance testing.
Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
Updating, implementing, and maintaining processes and procedures.
Prioritising initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
