Proven business development experience in project-based engineering environments. Strong knowledge of South African and international business landscapes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. Collaborative team player with a results-driven mindset. Job Requirements: National Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to expand market share in South Africa. Cultivate and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships. Analyse market trends and competitor activities for growth opportunities. International Business Expansion: Research and identify potential international markets. Build relationships with international clients and partners. Create strategies for international market entry and growth. Customer Engagement for RFQs: Understand client needs and nurture relationships for RFQ acquisition. Coordinate with internal teams to develop competitive proposals. Digital Marketing Oversight: Manage social media content in line with company objectives. Engage with the audience and handle inquiries/comments. Sales Assistance: Support sales team in closing tenders and meeting KPIs. Assist in negotiations and finalizing contracts for business opportunities. Market Analysis and Planning: Conduct market research to understand target regions and international markets. Collaborate with teams to align business development strategies with company goals. Proposal and Presentation: Prepare compelling proposals and presentations for clients. Engage in negotiations to secure new business opportunities. Reporting and Analysis: Regularly report on business development activities and market trends. Analyse strategy success and offer data-driven recommendations for improvement.
