What you'll be doing This is an integral role for the Company, a strategic one. You'll be reporting directly to the Head of Sales. Your focus is to identify and create footprints to expand the brand in to Africa to countries such as Tanzania, Kenya, Ghana as well as neighbouring regions. That will mainly entail identifying and creating a distribution network, creating business plans for sales, travelling to and liaising with existing and new potential clients, providing training and support to customers, purchase order processing, obtain freight charges and processing of export certificates and assisting with inspections. Where you'll be doing it This will be a role that combines travel to Africa and work from the office in Sandton working for a worldwide, established brand in the electrical manufacturing industry as a broader term. We can get in to more detail when we chat. What you'll need Experience you've built up from travelling to Africa to develop business for a company within the technical component / engineering industries. Ideally Electrical components, however Mechanical can be considered. Ideally you've got a sales/marketing type qualification, bonus if a technical type qualification is on top of that. Around 5 to 10 years sales experience in the exports industry, some of that in Africa and our Some understanding of Incoterms is advantageous. A key factor is that you'll need to be able to travel extensively to Africa.
