Hire Resolve is collaborating with a leading Renewable Energy company in Sandton to hire a skilled Business Development Specialist. As a Business Development Specialist in the Renewable Energy sector, you will spearhead business development and sales efforts in the Renewable Energy sector, achieving over $100 million in annual revenue by utilizing industry expertise and cultivating relationships with both government and private sector clients. Responsibilities Achieve annual sales targets exceeding 100 million rands. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Renewable Energy sector. Develop and nurture relationships with government and private sector clients. Forge strategic partnerships to enhance market offerings and competitiveness. Oversee the preparation and submission of tenders. Create and implement business development plans. Manage public relations with relevant government and public sector entities. Identify and leverage industry partnerships to advance Rihati's objectives. Managing Risk and Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies. Performance and Accountability: Monitor and report on sales performance. Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed business development goals. People Management and Culture: Lead and mentor junior business development staff. Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Requirements Degree in Sales or Business Development. A qualification in Renewable Energy is advantageous. Minimum Experience: At least 10 years of experience in a similar role. Proven track record of achieving significant sales targets (over 100 million rands annually). Extensive experience with both government and private sector projects. In-depth knowledge of the Renewable Energy sector. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
