Hire Resolve is partnering with a leading Electrical firm in Sandton to find an experienced Business Development Specialist. As a Business Development Specialist in the Electrical sector, you will be responsible for driving business growth, building and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the success of Hire Resolve in the industry. Job Purpose: To drive business development and sales initiatives within the Electrical sector, achieving over 100 million revenue in sales annually, by leveraging industry experience and building relationships with government and private sector clients. Responsibilities: Building Business Development and Growth: Achieve annual sales targets exceeding 100 million rands. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Electrical sector. Develop and maintain relationships with government and private sector clients. Create strategic partnerships to enhance competitive market offerings. Oversee the tender preparation and submission. Organize and formulate business development plans. Responsible for public relations management with relevant entities in the government and public sector Identify partnering opportunities in the industry to further the Rihati objectives Managing Risk and Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies. Performance and Accountability: Monitor and report on sales performance. Develop strategies to meet and exceed business development goals. Manage People and Accountability and Culture: Lead and mentor junior business development staff. Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Requirements: Degree in Sales or Business Development An Electrical Engineering qualification would be advantageous. 10 years of experience in a similar environment Proven track record of achieving significant sales targets (over 100 million rand per year). Extensive experience in both government and private sector projects. Industry knowledge within the Electrical sector. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
