PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create purchase orders for stock required
Receiving of stock; ensure bulk stock checks are conducted, receive deliveries from relevant suppliers with security present.
Checks and ensures invoice information contains accurate information as in accordance with stock received, checks the quality of stock received; damages, expirations and shortages.
Checks on stock rotation within Cold Rooms
Inter-department transfers
Daily Pre-production
Manage and set ideal stock levels per product category.
Set correct range to be available at the correct time of day / week.
Ensure scales are correctly calibrated and products and prices are accurately maintained
Assist with weekly stock takes
Control and capture wastage
Control stock
Assist with all staff related admin; rosters, leave forms, HR matters, etc.
All functions listed above to be performed in conjunction with Butchery Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Grade 12 (Matric)
3-4 years experience in a similar role within the Butchery Department
Can work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Great interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent administration skills
