PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Open and closing of store
Focused on customer service
Ensure that staff are adequately trained
Stock control and Stock rotation
Championing quality and cold chain management.
Ensure all promotional stock is available
Control and maintain GPs in departments
Regular fridge temperature checks
Constant floor walks
Wastage control
Maintaining of store hygiene
Ensure staff are performing to company standards
Drive sales
Control store expenses and budgets
Stock take
Planning and executing innovative sales and merchandising techniques, ensuring shelves are correctly stocked at all times.
Checking the replenishment process for all departments on a daily basis.
Working with receiving to make sure perishable foods are received as efficiently and effectively as possible
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Grade 12
At least 5 years proven experience in a retail management role
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets.
Knowledge of inventory management and visual merchandising.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of health and safety regulations.
Driver's license.
Clear Criminal record and a reasonable Credit record.
Traceable references.
