Reference: Pta000113-VLR-1 We are looking for a Packaging Buyer for a company within the FMCG industry based in the East Rand area. Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Supply chain or Logistic. 2-5 years Procurement experience. Packaging material experience required Procurement systems and processes with strong Excel skills. SAP experience Purchasing in a manufacturing environment. Procurement or supply chain experience in FMCG industry Responsibilities: Support the company strategy in terms of managing purchased requirements for packaging materials in line with the demand and supply plans. This will include sourcing and selecting suppliers; responsible for purchasing of the materials at the best overall cost the company and on-time within the agreed lead times. As material availability is important to sustain continued production and customer service levels, optimal planning and management of materials stocks on-site and 3P's is an important aspect of the job Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
