A growing company based in Jet Park, Boksburg is seeking a Buyer to join the team. Responsibilities: Purchasing of Steel Purchasing of PPE and Consumables for workshop Checking of job cards, order value, sizes, thickness, quantity and customer, and required GP achieved Approval of Diesel slips Making out orders for services of Machines and renting of Trucks Office stationery, groceries etc. purchases Manage and keep track of forklifts, trucks services and licenses, Consumables, Stationery and Groceries, Afrox Always negotiate for better pricing or discount Checking Supplier invoices to Purchase orders Ensure Purchase orders approved by MD before placing order Must have at least 3-4 years experience in buying Grade 12 a must Completed Procurement/ buying qualification advantageous Worked in a Manufacturing/ Steel Industry – knowledge of steel plates Own Transport a must Must reside in the East Rand Must be Computer Literate in Word, Excel and Outlook Salary is candidate dependent and negotiable based on experience
