A challenging management position has become available at Primvilla Methodist Homes in Germiston. Methodist Homes for the Aged is a Non Profit Organisation that provides accommodation, rental units and mid and frail care services to elderly residents at 14 villages across Gauteng and the North West Province. Prim Villa is a large home that specialises in the care of residents with Alzheimer's and related dementias. Management, Administration, and control ensuring the general wellbeing and success of a Nursing care center. Control expenses and generate adequate income. Maintain good relationship between residents, their families and staff and always develop an atmosphere of tranquillity. Enhance the quality of care and support to the residents Overall cost effective and efficient management of the Home in accordance with the Company ethos. Oversee occupancy and completion of documentation. Lead and manage staff and sub-contractors and ensure compliance with legislation and Company policies. Oversee the nursing services into the village. Co-ordinate maintenance. Arrange and attend Local Committee meetings. Liaison with Government Departments. Candidates must have a successful track record in senior management, preferably in a service industry, and have above average financial and interpersonal skills, yet be assertive and self-motivated. Applicants must have excellent communications and people skills. Computer literacy essential. Experience in a nursing field or with Alzheimer's and Dementia is an advantage.
