Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations at all times. Maintain and inspect chainsaws and related equipment to ensure functionality and safety. Clear debris and clean work areas to maintain a safe and organized environment. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks. Follow environmental guidelines and company policies related to vegetation removal. Perform basic maintenance tasks such as fueling, oiling, and sharpening chainsaws. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly Proven experience as a chainsaw operator or similar role. Ability to operate chainsaws safely and effectively in various weather conditions. Knowledge of chainsaw maintenance and repair techniques. Understanding of safety protocols and practices related to forestry and tree cutting operations. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Grade12/Matric Certification in chainsaw operation or forestry-related training. R42.90 Per Hour
