Phakisa Holding is looking for Driver Code14 in Alberton and Meyerton areas Safely operate a Lowbed Truck to transport heavy equipment, machinery, and other oversized loads to designated locations. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the Lowbed Truck and its load to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety regulations. Secure cargo properly using straps, chains, and covers to prevent shifting or damage during transit. Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods while considering factors such as traffic and weather conditions. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and site personnel regarding load details, schedules, and any delays or issues encountered. Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high standard of safety and professionalism. Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or maintenance issues. Perform basic maintenance tasks on the Lowbed Truck as needed and report any mechanical problems promptly. Valid Code 14 driver's license with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a Driver operating a Lowbed Truck or similar heavy equipment transport vehicle. Knowledge of securing and transporting oversized loads safely and legally. Ability to read and interpret maps, GPS systems, and route directions. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Grade12/Matric R72.79 Per Hour
