As the Change and Release Manager, your role is to oversee the implementation of changes and the release of software products or services. Your responsibilities include ensuring that these changes and releases are in line with the business objectives and meet the necessary quality standards. This is essential to minimize risks and disruptions to our customers and stakeholders, and to ensure that we maintain high levels of customer satisfaction Minimum of 2 years of leadership / management experience in an IT environment. Service Management Experience. ITIL v3 or v4. Data Analytics and Reporting. Customer and communication experience. Cloud Certification and practices are advantageous. People Management - includes Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance Management, Talent Management, Succession Planning, Pay Reward and Retention of staff. Provides coaching and upskilling of staff to enable strategy. Manages assigned deliveries through appropriate time management. Apply structured methodologies and lead activities across Release and Change Management. Work with teams to understand the impacts and dependencies. Scheduling of Releases and Changes to manage dependencies and ensure co-existence across teams and suppliers. Clear and effective communication between teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders in business. Assess Releases and Changes and ensure that all quality standards and assessments are completed. Ensures continuous service to clients through developing, implementing, evaluating, and improving processes. Leads a Change Advisory Board and manages a Forward Schedule of Changes across the Bank and Suppliers for all core services and ensures approval/alignment across stakeholders. Ensures that Change and Release Management processes and procedures are applied and may be rolled back if required. Continually work towards making improvements in the Release and Change processes. Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists. Reporting and Communication relating to Change and Release Management. Keeps up to date on technologies, solution landscape and international best practices.
