The successful incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the use of modern IT software and technologies to streamline business operations as well as oversee the use of Information technology (IT) in the organization. Description Job Description: Assess risks and form contingency plans Keep abreast with the latest industry trends and developments. Develop, implement and monitor software development policies and controls Enforce adherence to Cyber Security best practices. Set objectives and strategies for the IT department Select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize strategic benefits. Analyse the costs, value and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions Design and customize technological systems and platforms to improve customer experience. Execute new systems and provide guidance to IT professionals and stakeholders within the organization Manage the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organization to ensure optimal performance. Qualifications and Skills: BSc bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related fields Background in developing IT systems and planning IT implementation 4 years of proven experience Industry experience in banking and retail is highly advantageous
