Duties and responsibilities:
- Review project specifications, drawings, and procedures related to civil construction for PV and BESS installations.
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality plans and procedures specific to civil works, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of civil construction activities, including foundation construction, structural installations, and cable trenching.
- Verify material compliance and quality assurance throughout the construction phase.
- Identify and address non-conformities or deviations from quality standards and recommend effective corrective actions.
- Collaborate closely with testing and commissioning teams to ensure readiness of civil components for system integration and operation.
- Monitor and enforce strict safety and environmental compliance during civil construction activities.
- Prepare detailed QAQC reports documenting findings, recommendations, and compliance status.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and compliance certificates.
Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years to 8 years of proven experience in QAQC roles focused on Solar or and BESS construction projects
- Strong knowledge of civil construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
- Solid understanding of QAQC principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards applicable to renewable energy projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001) is highly desirable.
