To manage and supervise the on-site civil engineering activities, ensuring that the construction and installation of solar power systems proceed smoothly, safely,efficiently, and in accordance with project plans and specifications. Participate in the evaluation of potential sites for PV installations, considering factors like soil conditions, topography, drainage, and accessibility. Oversee and manage site clearing, grading, and preparation activities to ensure a suitable and level platform for the PV system. Monitor the construction of foundations and structural support systems for solar panels, ensuring they meet engineering specifications and local building codes. Enforce safety measures and protocols to protect workers during construction, adhering to safety standards and regulations. Implement quality control measures to ensure that the civil construction work meets project specifications and industry standards. Collaborate with construction teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure the timely and proper execution of civil engineering aspects. Manage the procurement and utilization of materials, tools, and equipment necessary for civil engineering work. Assist in managing the budget and resource allocation for the civil engineering aspects of the project, monitoring costs and resource usage. Ensure that the work site adheres to safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment and proper safety practices. Maintain detailed daily reports of site activities, including progress, issues, and changes in the construction process. Implement and monitor erosion control measures, stormwater management, and proper drainage to minimize environmental impacts. Assist with the permitting process, working with local authorities to obtain necessary approvals for site construction Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including drawings, technical reports, and warranties specific to the civil site engineering aspects. Preferably Professional Degree in Civil Engineering 5 years of Experience with solar power plant Internally with Project, Construction, HSSE, Quality Team Etc. Externally with Client, Regulatory Authorities, Subcontractor and Suppliers etc.
