A well-known organisation is looking for a Transfers Clerk. The main purpose of the role is to process transfers relating to funds in line with the legislation of the Pension Fund Act, while managing and reconciling cashbooks and liaising with the company financial team. Your key responsibilities will include, but is not limited to: Processing of ROT and Section 14 transfers of benefits in and out of the Fund Preparing Section 14 documents to be submitted to the Actuaries with regards to Section 14 of the Pension Fund Act. Liaison with the FSCA / Fund administrator / Financial advisors / Employers / Consultants. Calculation of transfer /surplus and withdrawal benefits. Drafting of earnout transfers. Estimates of benefits Balancing of Funds in and out Adding of Payments on Cashbooks Running & Finalising of Cashbooks Reconcile of cashbooks Key Competencies Customer service skills Problem solving skills. Planning & Organising Ability to adapt to change. Reconciliation skills Deadline driven. Must be able to work under pressure. Must be reliable, Trustworthy and be a team player. Requirements: Matric (Grade 12) with Maths / Accounting Good arithmetic and basic accounting skills Good attendance and reliability Knowledge of Microsoft (Excel, Word, Email) Knowledge of Pension Fund Act and Fund rules/ Minimum 3 years Claim processing experience.
