Location: Stellenbosch We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Security Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud environments for our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud security best practices and a strong background in cloud infrastructure and architecture. 1. Cloud Security Focus Develop and execute the Cloud technology roadmap. Stay updated with cloud and cloud security technologies. Engage with business units to ensure secure Cloud deployments. Define and document Cloud security standards. Provide research on industry best practices. Collaborate to improve Cloud Security Posture through automation. Ensure regulatory and security compliance. 2. Design and Build Infrastructure Solutions Design and implement cloud security solutions. Ensure solutions align with security frameworks, compliance, high availability, and scalability. Document designs, specifications, and implementations. 3. Implement Infrastructure Designs Create detailed implementation plans. Prepare hand-over documentation. Provide technical cloud security support. Review implementations for future improvements. 4. Maintain Infrastructure Automate cloud security deployments and testing. Maintain documentation and SOPs. Ensure license and system compliance. Manage configuration using AWS and other tools. Improve security vulnerabilities and monitor infrastructure. Tertiary qualification in AWS Foundation or Cloud Computing. Financial services or banking experience. 7 years in Infrastructure, Software Development, DevOps, or Security. 4 years in public Cloud infrastructure design and implementation. 3 years in AWS with a focus on Security & IAM. Experience with CI/CD tools and scripting/provisioning tools like Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation. 2 years in AWS Networking. Experience with Big Data technologies, ELK, Docker, Kubernetes, and Agile/Scrum environments. Basic understanding of a high-level programming language (GoLang/.net/Java). Advanced scripting skills (Bash/PowerShell). Cloud infrastructure design and deployment. Knowledge of AWS Platforms and Cloud Security technologies. DevOps experience with security controls. Knowledge of modern software engineering patterns and CI/CD processes. Familiarity with JSON templates, PowerShell, CLI's, Shell, Python. Apply Now
