My client constantly seeks skilled and meticulous CNC Programmers to join their production team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Programming CNC machines and a keen eye for detail to produce high-quality retail fixtures and POS materials. (The position is based in La Mercy, Durban at the Dube Tradepost)

Key Duties:

Programme CNC machines to cut, shape, and finish materials according to specifications.
Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Set up and adjust CNC machines, ensuring optimal performance and precision.
Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Ensure all finished products meet quality standards and client requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Minimum of a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
Formal training or certification in CNC Programming is highly advantageous. (CNC Trade Tested)
Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with various materials used in shopfitting and POS manufacturing.
Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

THE SALARY FOR THIS POSITION IS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MEIBC WAGES ON GRADE A
