Adlam Engineering (Pty) Ltd is a company that specialises in the manufacturing of mining mahinery and industrial gearboxes. We currently have an opportunity for a CNC Milling Programmer. We are looking for a resopnsible person to join the CNC Milling Department. The CNC Milling Programmer will program componentsand fixturing using customer provided models and drawings. Programmers will be responsible for the creation and revision of CNC programs for various CNC Milling machines, multi axis,5-Axis, horizontal and vertical machines, lathes, mills and other equipment. Writer programs for machines using Mastercam/Hypermill software Analyze job order, drawing, blueprints and specifications and design data to calculate dimensions, tool selections, machine speeds and feed rates. Determine sequence of machine operations and select proper cutting tools needed to mahine workpieces. Write instruction sheets/routers for a machine controller to guide set-up. Develop set-up work instructions and train operators. Ustilising computer aided manufacturing (CAM) software to produce or develop programmes Simplify tooling time for workers Monitor all programs to ensure the follow blueprint instructions. Strong accumen of process development Ability to design fixturing Knowledge of raw materials, production processess, quality control, costing Profient in MS Office Fluent in one or more Mastercam. Vericut Exceptional problem solving, organisational and analytical skills Grade 12 with Science and Mathematics Tertiary Education in Mechanical Engineering Programming Certification (Mastercam) with at least 6 programming experience To be negotiated, should applicant be successful Apply Now
