Co2 Laser Operator - South Africa
Job Tile: CO2 Laser Operator Location: Germiston Salary: Market-Related Duties: Set up and operate CO2 laser cutting machines to cut steel sheets or plates. Load and unload materials onto the machine, and input cutting parameters. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency. Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of the equipment. Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality. Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform minor repairs as needed. Requirements Matric. Previous experience operating CO2 laser cutting machines or similar CNC equipment. Knowledge of laser cutting technology and safety procedures. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Attention to detail and ability to maintain precision in cutting. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Basic computer skills for machine operation and data input.
