Description This role will include project estimating, project tendering, contract management and commercial management, including monthly valuations & certificates, cost control and final accounts. Qualifications and Experience: Qualification in Quantity Surveyor / National Higher Diploma in Engineering or Bachelor's Degree (BEng) Minimum 5 years working experience in a similar role Strong understanding of construction methodologies and regulations Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong negotiation and communication skills Key Responsibilities Manage all commercial aspects and risks of the project estimation Prepare contract documents, including project tendering, contract management Identify commercial risks and develop and manage response strategies Prepare and analyse costings for tenders and contract variations Perform cost control and track adjustments to design and construction work Manage payments for contractors and subcontractors Prepare monthly valuation reports & certificates and project final accounts Profile Ideal candidate is a highly skilled Commercial Quantity Surveyor to manages all commercial aspects, cost controls, and financial elements of our projects. The ideal candidate will qualify in Quantity Surveying, an ND in Engineering, or a Bachelor's Degree (BEng), along with 5 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of methodologies and regulations, the ability to manage multiple projects, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong negotiation and communication abilities are essential.
