Learn more: jti.com Compensation & Benefits Manager What this position is about: As Compensation & Benefits Manager you will be responsible for the overall Compensation & Benefits (C&B) processes of both local and international assignees in line with local and global JTI policies, procedures, and processes. You will work on budgeting and forecasting as well as reporting for all payroll-related elements in line with JTI global deadlines. Responsibilities include designing, overseeing, implementing and managing of salaries, bonuses and benefits packages for employees of JTI South Africa. Monitor salary structures, balance staffing needs with cost controls, and help ensure that policies, procedures and programs are in alignment with the organization's overall strategic objectives and the P&C vision. The incumbent will be responsible for supervising the outsourced payroll function for organization. Responsibilities: Compensation Management: Reviewing and managing sign-off of monthly Payroll variance report for the organization's pay structure. Preparing and submitting of annual Pay line by participating in the MERCER salary survey and in one additional salary survey available on the market .Prepare Compensation Scenarios / Tax Structures comparisons for promotions and new recruitments. Review of compensation/benefits/payroll policies and Evaluating of positions Benefits Management: Administer company's employee benefits program, which includes retirement plans, leave policies, wellness programs, and insurance policies such as health, life, and disability. Maintaining of Global Benefits Tool HR Systems Management: Maintaining of SAP system with all Org Structure and Compensation related changes according to JTI standards & procedures (Data Quality) together with GBS. Manage the ASR, PSIP, LTIP and Local Bonus process. Ensure compliance for all P&C JSOX requirements Annual Plan (AP) and Latest Estimate (LE): Calculating and submitting of Annual Plan and Latest Estimates (March & Sept) for all payroll related expenses for local, temporary and International Assignee's for Market Headcount employees International Assignees: Managing of the mobility requirement for all the inbound and outbound assignees for South Africa (IA's, STA's, etc.)Ensuring that all legislated requirements are met for both Visa requirements and Tax requirements Stakeholder management: Be the contact person for external C&B partners and providers (payroll, provident fund, medical and other insurances, etc.). Introduce and onboard new employees regarding JTI's compensation & reward processes Payments and submission: Submission, payment and process statutory (PAYE, UIF, SDL) and other returns as well as third party payments (Medical aid, Provident fund, Group life, Garnishees, and Medical aid). Compile and submit all payroll related journals, including accruals for Leave, bonus, WCA, etc. and reconciliations thereof for finance. This also includes the bank reconciliation for the payroll account. Annual and Bi Annual Reconciliation between payroll and General Ledger Create and Assist with PIR Calculations and Total Rewards: Statements ,Time Management (Ensure leave between SAP and VIP Reconcile) International Assignees, Administration of the payroll for all the inbound and outbound assignees for SA Update pay slips and Deloitte's calendars and portals for data submission on a monthly basis Who we are looking for - Requirements: University Degree or equivalent Min 5 years of experience in HR, min 3 year in managerial position Experience with local & international labor agreements and relocation of employees Experience in payroll administration for minimum 5 years Fluency in English, other languages a plus Computer literacy : Proficiency in MS Office, SAP and VIP payroll a plus What are the next steps in the Recruitment process: Thank you very much for your interest in the role.
