Ensure compliance of Project equipment and technical operations to all OSH Act and other legal requirements Implementation of the company's global engineering standards at the Project Provide engineering/technical knowledge base for the Project Support Operations, Technical and SHEQ during the Project Ensure equipment availability by minimising downtime resulting from unplanned equipment failure in Projects Ensure Electrical Compliance Throughout the Project Partake in Risk Assessments and Rigging Studies Assist with Managing Contractors Ensure QC on Delivery of Mechanical and Electrical Equipment with the Third Party AIA Carry a Legal Appointment as a GMR 2.1 for the Project Site Qualifications & Experience Required Grade 12 NQF 6 Engineering Diploma plus an Electrical, Instrumentation or Millwright qualification GCC in Electrical or Mechanical Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Projects 5 years' experience in Projects in a petrochemical and logistics environment Sound Technical capability and understanding Hands on Experience with Contractor Management Knowledge of Electrical Systems Knowledges of QC Procedures Knowledge of Mechanical Systems Market-related
