Job Summary Design and develop fit for purpose learning content to deliver on Absa Group capability requirements as part of an integrated people plan and aligned to the learning experience framework. Job Description Understand business requirements to effectively deliver appropriate solutions aligned to organisational and business strategy Consult with business and learning stakeholders on instructional design approach, learning objectives and required outcomes. Work collaboratively with cross functional stakeholders in the development of learning materials, assessment techniques, appropriate integration of instructional technologies and best practices. Design and develop learning materials in a variety of formats including digital, graphics, audio, video and multimedia to support facilitation, learner information needs and an enhanced learner experience. Project manage the end-to-end design and development process to implementation. Provide advice to business and learning partners on instructional software and effective uses of multimedia. Research and make recommendations on learning best practices, instructional resources, instructional technologies and multimedia hardware/software to support the learning experience. Drive results through effective learning measurement (commercial orientation) Drive continuous improvement in learning solution and content design Proactively and effectively interpret, source and develop best practices in learning (internally and externally) to create a more efficient and effective learning function Continuously benchmark learning solutions and maintain high quality standards through research and updated knowledge Design and implement evaluation criteria for successful implementation of the learning solutions with clear objectives and successful performance metrics Ensure a project plan is in place to manage timelines, resources, risks and issues. Monitor and report on learning projects.
