The Content Managers role is to manage companys team of content creators, manage and compile the content calendars across all platforms, and ensuring the production of high quality, engaging, and relevant content in conjunction with the Brand & Communications Manager and Paid Media Specialist.
Develop and execute an innovative content strategy that aligns with brand objectives, identifies trends and best practices, and leverages emerging platforms; manage a comprehensive content calendar to support marketing campaigns, product launches, and seasonal trends.
Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product, to integrate content strategies with broader business goals; inspire and manage a team of content creators, ensuring brand consistency and quality standards across all content types.
Oversee content creation and performance analysis, refining strategies based on metrics, user engagement, and audience feedback; review and approve content, ensuring it reflects brand values, messaging, and visual identity.
Detailed knowledge of current online tools and marketing trends, including SEO
Extensive knowledge of the gaming and hospitality industry, sports betting markets, odds formats, and sports betting terminology, with expertise in sports and online betting rules, teams and players in the online space.
Proficient in sports betting platforms, technologies, and third-party integrations, with a focus on mobile betting and industry trends
Leadership and Collaboration: Demonstrates strong leadership and teamwork skills, guiding and inspiring others, building relationships, and fostering a positive team environment while valuing diverse perspectives.
Analytical and Detail-Oriented: Exhibits strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, interpreting data to make informed decisions, ensuring accuracy, and identifying areas for improvement.
Effective Communication and Time Management: Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, active listening abilities, and effective time management, handling multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines efficiently.
Essential Pre -requisites: Matric (NQF 4), Digital Marketing / Communications or Similar Diploma/ Certificate, good verbal and written skills in English, content creation experience and at least two years experience in a similar role. Experience in Online Betting would be advantageous.
