FINANCIAL CONTROLLER (Automotive Industry)– North of Pretoria International Automotive Component manufacturing operation is looking to appoint an experienced Plant / Financial Controller for their plant in the Rosslyn Qualifications / Experience / Skills BCom Accounting 3-5 years experience as Plant Controller with Automotive manufacturing company Experience in Cost Accounting, Budgeting, Forecasting DUTIES Control the overall financial activities of the plant. Establish and improve the financial systems and controls within the plant. Organise the financial department to be as effective and efficient as possible. Involved in management decisions and discussions with regards to the plants current and future business opportunities. Prepare financial support for capital appropriation requests for plant Develop and distribute management reports for local management Review and validate monthly, quarterly and yearly close Adjust balance sheet accounts for accruals and prepare additional journal entries Review trail balance for correctness Provide information about inter- and intra-company discrepancies Prepare trial balance reports, Validate final Trial balance Validate monthly, quarterly and yearly close Perform inventory accounting, Provide support for appropriate taxes and exercise rates Calculate appropriate accruals together and Analyze and report stock / inventory losses Prepare, develop and review financial budget and forecast Develop financial forecasts Review profit plan and forecasts with local management and Operations organization Completion of the monthly VAT return Monthly preparation of the VAT payment Withholding tax compliance as per Lesotho legislation and Issuing of Withholding Tax certificates Collaboration with the LRA and internal stakeholders during tax audits VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE ESSENTIAL FLUENT IN BOTH ENGLISH AND AFRIKAANS ESSENTIAL ONLY APPLICANTS THAT MEET THE ABOVE REQUIREMENTS WILL BE CONSIDERED SALARY OFFERED TO SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL DEPEND ON QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
