We are currently recruiting Groupage controllers to join a highly entrepreneurial international supply chain logistics business based in Durban. File registration. Forward customer indents to origin stations for collections. Monitor shipments with origin stations. Arrange consols, mini-consols or own groupage boxes where possible. Update controllers of customers shipment status. Co-ordinate requests for outstanding documentation. Request shipped on board details from the various shipping lines & co-loaders. Issue shipped on board details to external clearing agents. Submit RCG filings where necessary. Process cargo dues, delivery instruction and unpack instructions for groupage containers. Request freight and landside charges from the various shipping lines & co-loaders. Check that charges are in accordance with our agreed rates. Arrange payments to the various shipping lines & co-loaders. Prepare costing for final invoice. Capture all WIPS and accruals. Handle releases internally & externally Attend to queries. Grade 12 Senior Certificate (Matric) Post-Matric tertiary qualification – not essential 5 years' experience in sea freight import documentation and groupages IT literate Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Cargowise experience would be an added advantage
