Duties:
- Develop and implement cost accounting systems and procedures
- Prepare and analyze cost reports, financial statements, and budget forecasts
- Monitor and manage expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints
- Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and strategic initiatives
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- BCom Accounting / Finance
- CIMA or CPA preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting or financial management
- Experience with JD Edwards is advantageous
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing and relationship-building skills
- Having a continuous improvement mindset
- Willingness to work overtime if and when needed
